Daniel McCaffrey commenced legal practice in a boutique commercial firm in Melbourne in 2009, after a working in the banking and finance industry.
Prior to joining McDonald Legal in 2022, Daniel ran his own law firm assisting clients in family law, property law (including commercial leases, subdivisions and off-the-plan sales and purchases, and owner-builder issues), Wills and Estates (including complex probate applications and family provision claims), corporate structuring advice, and sale and purchase of businesses for about 10 years.
Daniel has a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) and a Master of Laws (majoring in Family Dispute Resolution Practice). He applies the knowledge and expertise from those courses with his practical experience in family law matters to endeavour to achieve cost-effective and future-focussed outcomes for his family law clients and their children.
Daniel is also an accredited mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation Scheme (NMAS) and accredited by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP).
